Skymet Weather Report: Heavy snowfall in J&K brings life to standstill

The states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh as well as Uttarakhand were lashed with widespread rain and snow during the last 48 hours. This rainy and snowy spell had occurred over the hills after a large gap. In fact, the systems that had caused rain and snow before this did not result in widespread weather activity. 
During the course of both Saturday and Sunday, almost all the well-known hilly resorts and cities including Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and many others.
