SCO summit: PM Modi meets Xi Jinping, Imran Khan reaches Bishkek

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Bishkek on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit and extended advance wishes for the latter’s birthday, sources said.

Chinese President Xi Jinping is turning 66 on June 15.

 

PM Modi held delegation level talks with Jinping on the sidelines of the SCO summit, which is the first multilateral engagement of Modi post his re-election.
