Regional parties come together with Congress after win in 3 states| Master Stroke

The support extended by the SP and the BSP to the Congress in Madhya Pradesh has raised hopes of a grand alliance of anti-BJP parties in states like Uttar Pradesh ahead of the Lok Sabha election next year, analysts said.
Ramesh Dixit, former head of Political Science department at Lucknow University, said doubts over a mahagathbandhan of anti-BJP parties have been cleared by the manner in which the SP and the BSP have risen to the occasion.
