Rahul attacks PM Modi on Rafale deal, BJP hits back with a video
Setting up the tone for the upcoming assembly election in the state, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government on various fronts.
Addressing his first rally here at Ramlila ground ahead of the state elections, the Congress Chief highlighted loopholes in the purchase of a Rafale aircraft.
"The UPA government had bought an airplane for Rs 540 crore, while Prime Minister Modi himself gave Rs 1600 crore to the French company for one aircraft as per the new deal," he claimed.
