Priests denied permission to march towards Ayodhya; Akhada Parishad calls urgent meeting
The sadhus and saints from Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, who were scheduled to march towards Ayodhya, pressing their demand for Ram Temple were on Monday denied permission to march towards the disputed land. Ayodhya authorities have assured considering the demand for conducting the program post December 6. The Akhada Parishad has called an urgent meeting after the order.
In the meeting 2 representatives from every 13 Akhadas will participate. The meeting, which will begin at 9am, will take place in Prayagraj’s Juna Akhada’s Shiv temple. As per sources, the further strategy will be discussed in the meeting.
