PM Modi, Sonia Gandhi Pay Tributes To 'Mahatma Gandhi' In Parliament
As India marks the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi today, celebrations is in full swing across the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu were among several leaders who on Wednesday paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shahstri on their birth anniversaries. Congress president Sonia Gandhi, former prime minister Manmohan Singh, BJP veteran L K Advani, Union ministers Piyush Goyal and Hardeep Singh Puri, and BJP working president J P Nadda also there to pay floral tributes to the father of the nation.
