Noida police ask to 'keep employees from offering namaz in open'
In a strange order, Noida SHO has issued a notification to various companies in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida to keep their Muslim employees from reading Namaz in open. This came after a formal permission was sought by employees working in offices close to sector 68, to read namaz in open in a park on Fridays.
In response to the request, the same was declined by Noida police; stating ‘Such public meetings would spoil the communal harmony’; where the companies were told that they would be responsible if the employees were found reading namaz.
