US-Taliban peace deal a sign of America's defeat?

United States of America has signed a peace deal with Taliban. According to this deal, US forces will be phased out of Afghanistan and peace talks between US and Taliban will begin. Addressing media from the White House, President Donald Trump said that he will be meeting the Taliban leadership in near future and he believes that Taliban wouldn't do anything that proves that this deal is a waste of anyone's time.
