Russia-Ukraine War: Russia vetoes UNSC action on Ukraine; India appeals for peace

On Friday, Russia vetoed a UN Security Council resolution that "strongly condemns" Russia's "aggression" against Ukraine and demands that its troops leave immediately. The motion, which was co-written by the US and Albania, received 11 of the 15 votes in favour of the council. China, India, and the United Arab Emirates all voted with their abstentions.
