Emergency in Sri Lanka: How will the country pull itself from economic crisis? | ABP News

After the collapse of Sri Lanka's economy, people have taken to the streets and there is violence and uproar in the whole country including the capital Colombo. After the uncontrollable situation, President Gotabaya Rajapaksa declared an emergency late on Friday night.

Thousands gathered outside Rashtrapati Bhavan yesterday to protest. Angry people are asking the President to step down as they feel that the policies of the current government are responsible for the present economic condition.
