WHO grants emergency use of China's Sinovac COVID Vaccine

In a recent development, the World Health Organisation has granted an emergency use for the COVID-19 vaccine made by the Chinese company Sinovac. The vaccine will be used for adults 18years and older, in a two-dose schedule with a spacing of two to four weeks. Meanwhile, last month, Sinopharm became the first Chinese vaccine to be approved by the WHO.
