West Bengal Elections 2021: EC imposes 24-hour ban on Mamata Banerjee's campaigning
The Election Commission (EC) has banned the election campaign of West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC President Mamata Banerjee for 24 hours. Let us know that on April 7, the Election Commission sent a notice to the Chief Minister regarding the non-sharing of minority votes. The notice stated that the Election Commission had received a complaint from the BJP delegation alleging that on April 3, Banerjee asked Muslim voters during the election rally in Tarakeswar in Hooghly not to divide their votes among various parties.
