Surge in Corona cases in Punjab after the return of pilgrims

So far, 3,525 pilgrims from Maharashtra's Nanded and 153 students from Rajasthan's Kota have returned to Punjab in the past four days. Additionally, 3,085 labourers were received at the Fazilka-Rajasthan border. CM Amarinder Singh has appealed to sarpanches and panchayats to increase the village-level surveillance to check the further spread of coronavirus.
