Shinzo Abe UPDATE: Was the incident an international conspiracy? | ABP News

It is speculated that there was a third party involved in the attack on Shinzo Abe, the ex-Prime Minister of Japan. It is reported that the attacker had come to the venue posing as a journalist. The Police seized the man who attacked Abe at around 11.30 am. The suspect is said to be a 41-year-old man named Yamagami Tetsuya.

Abe, Japan's longest-serving prime minister, stepped down in 2020 citing health reasons. He was prime minister of Japan twice, from 2006-07 and again from 2012-20.
