Section 144 imposed in UP, parts of Delhi ahead of protest by left parties against CAA

Samajwadi Party and other left parties have announced to hold protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act in the country on Wednesday.
In view of this, section 144 has been imposed in Uttar Pradesh and partts of Delhi.
The Uttar Pradesh police on Wednesday night stated that Section 144 has been imposed in the entire state and no permission has been given for protests to gather anywhere. Police also urged parents to counsel their children to stay away from protests.
