Punjab News : Policemen suspended after brutally thrashing 3 youths in Mohali

Mohali Police have registered a case against two police personnel for brutally thrashing three friends at a park in Phase 9 on Tuesday.
SSP Vivek Sheel Soni also ordered the suspension of both the policemen and ordered a departmental inquiry against ASI Jeevan Singh, who was with them.

Both the cops, head constable Harpreet Singh and constable Supinderveer Singh, are posted at Phase-8 police station, where the former has the charge of scribe. He is facing charges under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restraint) and 34 (act done with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
