Charanjit Singh Channi will be the new CM of Punjab. He was elected the leader of the legislature party. Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat announced this while tweeting. With the announcement of Charanjit Singh Channi's name, this will be the first time in Punjab that a Dalit leader will occupy the chief minister's chair
