Parliament Session 2024: 'Sengol is a symbol of religion and justice', says BJP MP Jagdambika Pal

Samajwadi Party MP RK Chaudhary's statement on Sengol has created a ruckus. He said that Sengol is a symbol of monarchy, so it should be removed from the Parliament and a copy of the Constitution should be put up here. After this war of words has erupted between opposition and BJP. While interacting with ABP News, BJP MP Jagdambika Pal said that Sengol is a symbol of religion and justice.

SP MP RK Chaudhary demanded the removal of Sengol from the Lok Sabha and called it a symbol of monarchy in democratic India. During the oath taking ceremony in the Lok Sabha, he said, "Today, I took an oath in this honourable House that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India established by law. But I was shocked to see Sengol on the right side of the Speaker of the House."
