Odisha: Police appoint 300 girls as special police officers to ensure women safety
The Odisha police have appointed 300 girls as special police officers from different colleges and IT professionals keeping in mind the women safety. The girls above 18 years of age have been deployed as special officers. A student shared her views on the same saying she feels happy as she received the power to resolve women issues. Police Commissioner, Sudhanshu Sandagi said that as an outreach program they have reached out to girls above 18 years asking their problems and then finding solutions.
