Navjot Singh Sidhu surprised the party high command and resigned from the post of Punjab Congress President. Sidhu stepped down soon after the portfolios were allotted to the new council of ministers in the state. After this, Minister Razia Sultana and Punjab Congress General Secretary Yoginder Dhingra resigned from their posts. Former CM Captain Amarinder Singh said that I had already warned that Sidhu is not a stable person and he is not suitable for the border state of Punjab.
