Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, held second meeting in a row with the Chiefs of the Indian Armed Forces. They discussed the Agnipath scheme for 2 hours in attendance with senior commanders of the Defence Forces.

Union Minister of State for Defence, Ajay Bhatt, appeals to the aspirants to stop their violent protests and instead send in their queries and issues to the government. 

The Ministry of Defence launched the Agnipath scheme to encourage the enrolment of youngsters in the Indian Armed Forces.
