Injured Alipur police station SHO narrates the attack by protesting farmers
On Friday, one of the protesting farmers on the Singhu border attacked Sanjeev Paliwal, SHO of Alipur police station, with a sword, causing more than 50 stitches on his hand. The SHO says that the local villagers came and started the protest. The situation was tense. Stones were thrown on behalf of the farmers. ''I reached the spot, tried to control the situation. Then a Sikh youth got very angry and told me to go away or he will attack'', says the SHO.
