Bilkis Banu Dadi was a famous face in the Shaheen Bagh performance during the Anti CAA Protest. Actor Kangana Ranaut made a video on Twitter alleging that Shaheen Bagh's 'illiterate grandmother' got involved in the demonstration without any knowledge.

To this, Bilkis grandmother said, "She is also our daughter." She added, "I have never seen Kangana. We do not sit for hundred rupees, we sit to save the country."
