'Vaccine War' begins ahead of coronavirus vaccination drive

Amid the controversy over the vaccine, Adar Poonawala, CEO of Serum Institute of India and Krishna Illa, MD of Bharat Biotech, issued a joint statement on Tuesday. They stated that to bring the world back on track and to run the economy smoothly and Vaccine is needed to save people's lives.

The vaccines of Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech of Hyderabad have been approved by DCGI for restricted emergency use.
