Uttar Pradesh Gets Nothing: SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav Slams Centre Over Budget 2024 | ABP News
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav slammed the central government over the Union Budget 2024, stating that Uttar Pradesh did not receive any benefits. He added that the people of Lucknow have angered the people of Delhi, and this is reflected in the budget. Yadav criticised the government for not providing a Minimum Support Price (MSP) to farmers, instead favouring alliance partners. "The government could not take any concrete steps regarding inflation. Uttar Pradesh did not get anything. UP should have received double benefits from the double-engine government. I think the people of Lucknow have angered the people of Delhi. Its result is visible in the budget. So what is the benefit of the double engine?" He said.
