UP: Rapti river wreaks havoc, many houses destroyed | 7 Ka Panch
Due to incessant rains and floodgates being opened by Nepal, the water level in the Rapti river in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh has risen to a dangerous level. The current of the river is so devastating that quite a few houses located near the banks of the rivers have been damaged. A lot of people in the nearby area have become homeless and are living without a roof over their heads because of this situation.
