UP News: Shocking Gang Rape Case in Ayodhya 5 Arrested, Hunt for 3 Others Underway | ABP News

In a shocking incident from Ayodhya, a female sanitation worker has accused eight individuals of gang rape. A case has been registered at the Cantonment (Cantt) police station under serious charges of sexual assault. According to reports, the victim has alleged that the gang rapes occurred multiple times at two different locations, including Angoori Bagh in the Kotwali Nagar area and the Cantt police station area. Following the complaint, the Cantt police acted swiftly and arrested five of the accused. Those arrested include Vansh Chaudhary, Sharik, Shiva, Udit, and Vansh Pasi. The police are still searching for the remaining accused and have intensified efforts to bring them to justice. The victim, who is a student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, has leveled these grave allegations against the eight individuals. The police registered the case at the Cantt police station based on the victim's statement and have launched a full-scale investigation into the matter. The arrest of the five suspects marks a significant step in the case, but the police continue to work on apprehending the remaining accused. This disturbing incident has drawn considerable attention in the area, sparking concerns about the safety and security of women.
