UP News: CM Yogi's Statement Sparks Political Storm from UP to Delhi | ABP News
On Diwali, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Van Tangiya village in Tikonia Number Three, where he inaugurated 74 development projects worth ₹185 crore for various gram panchayats. However, his brief speech sparked a political uproar, with opposition parties in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar registering their protests. During his address on Thursday, CM Yogi stated that everyone must remain vigilant against forces that seek to divide society and maintain unity. He warned that if such forces were given an opportunity due to complacency, they would revert to their old ways of engaging in goondaism, creating chaos, and instigating riots. He claimed that these elements would send instigators like Tadka and Khar Dushan to disrupt peace, threaten the safety of daughters and sisters, seize land from the poor, kidnap businessmen, shoot passersby, and incite riots before festivals. He emphasized that these were the same tactics used by such forces before 2017. CM Yogi further asserted that today, some individuals are trying to divide society based on caste, region, and language, likening these divisive elements to the DNA of Ravana and Duryodhana.
