Union Minister Kiren Rijiju Slams Opposition: Budget Session For Discussion, Not For Abusing Prime Minister | ABP News
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on July 25 condemned the opposition for their behaviour during the budget session. He said, "This is both a monsoon and budget session. The budget was presented yesterday, marking the start of discussions. Instead of engaging constructively, some opposition leaders disrespected Parliament. The Prime Minister has called for collective effort for the nation, but the opposition chose to abuse him. This behaviour undermines democracy. Instead of discussing the budget, they are engaging in political theatrics." Rijiju emphasised that the session should be used for meaningful debate rather than personal attacks. He criticised the opposition for insulting the people's mandate and lowering the session's dignity, asserting that the government has presented a spectacular budget.
