Union Budget 2024: Rahul Gandhi Arrives At Parliament Ahead Of Budget Presentation | ABP News

Congress MP and LoP in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi reached Parliament ahead of the Union Budget presentation by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Lok Sabha on July 23. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to make history on Tuesday by presenting her seventh consecutive budget for the fiscal year 2024-25. With this, she will surpass the record of former Prime Minister Morarji Desai. However, the record for the most budget presentations still belongs to Desai. Sitharaman, who will turn 65 next month, was appointed India's first full-time female finance minister in 2019. Since then, she has presented six consecutive budgets, including an interim budget in February this year. The full budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 will be her seventh consecutive budget. She will surpass Desai's record of presenting five consecutive full budgets and one interim budget between 1959 and 1964.
