Udaipur News: Man-Eating Panther Captured After 5-Day Search Operation | ABP News

In Udaipur district’s Gogunda area, a man-eating panther was finally captured by the forest department. For the past five days, a team of forest officials, supported by the army, had been working day and night to catch this dangerous predator. The local residents, who had been living in fear, breathed a sigh of relief after the panther was apprehended. This panther had claimed three lives within a span of just 24 hours, creating widespread panic and terror in the region. The forest department and military personnel had been on high alert, working tirelessly to track and trap the wild animal. Several efforts were made, using traps and other methods, but the panther continued to evade capture until now. Residents in the area had been living in a state of constant anxiety, fearing for their safety, as the panther's presence threatened their lives. Schools were closed, and people avoided stepping out of their homes unnecessarily. The successful capture of this man-eating panther has brought a sense of safety back to the community, though the authorities have urged residents to remain cautious while further assessments are carried out. The panther is expected to be relocated to a safer environment, ensuring no further threat to the public.
