IIT Kanpur alumnus Rakesh Gangwal, the co-founder of low-cost carrier IndiGo, has offered a personal donation of Rs 100 crore to help the School of Medical Sciences and Technology at his alma institution. In a series of tweets, IIT Kanpur Director Abhay Karandikar verified the news. However, another IIT Bombay alumnus is making the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
