Uproar in parliament amid an increase in inflation. RJD blamed the central government for the surge in petrol, and diesel price hikes. On Monday, the price of gasoline and diesel was raised by 40 pence per litre, bringing the total increase in rates in the last two weeks to 8.40 pence per litre. Petrol will now cost 103.81 per litre in Delhi, up from 103.41 previously, while diesel will cost 95.07 per litre, up from 94.67 previously, according to a price statement from state fuel merchants.
