“That’s Injustice To Voters” CPI’s Annie Raja’s First Reaction After Rahul Gandhi Quits Wayanad Seat
CPI leader Annie Raja accused Congress’ Rahul Gandhi of doing injustice to the voters of Wayanad. Annie Raja said that the voters should have been informed by Rahul Gandhi at the time of campaigning in Wayanad only that he was planning to contest from another constituency. Annie Raja lost to Rahul Gandhi from Kerala’s Wayanad parliamentary constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Annie Raja said, “At that point of time also I pointed it out that for a political morality, to keep political morality, Rahul Gandhi should have informed the Wayanad constituency voters. He should have informed the voters of Wayanad that in his mind he was planning to contest from another seat. That’s an injustice to the voters of Wayanad.”
