Tension Erupts in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri After Man Beaten to Death Over Alleged Beef Consumption

Tension has escalated in Charkhi Dadri district of Haryana following a shocking incident where a young man was beaten to death over allegations of consuming beef. The incident occurred on Friday (August 30). In connection with the murder, police have arrested seven individuals, including two minors. The situation unfolded when members of a cow protection group created a ruckus in the slums of Badhra town, claiming that the meat being prepared there was beef. They handed over two migrant youths to the police, alleging their involvement. The local police in Badhra were investigating the matter related to the migrant youths. In the meantime, members of the cow protection group severely assaulted the two migrant youths with sticks, resulting in the death of one of them. The condition of the other youth is reported to be serious. A video of the assault has circulated on social media, further intensifying the situation in Badhra town.
