Team India Returns Back From Cyclone Hit Barbados, Watch Big Updates Of The Hour Only On ABP News

The Indian cricket team returned home today after winning the T20 World Cup 2024. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, came to India from Barbados. India had won the title by defeating South Africa in the final match of the tournament. After winning the final, Team India was stuck in Barbados. Now he was brought back to India through a special flight. The flight landed in Delhi. Air India's AIC24WC chartered flight brought the champions and sports staff from there. The team will have a very busy schedule after coming to India. After arrival, Rohit and company will meet the Prime Minister in Delhi. Team India will meet PM Modi at around 9.30 in the morning. After this, Team India will leave for Mumbai on another chartered flight.  The Indian team will do an open bus parade in Mumbai, like Dhoni and company did after winning the 2007 T20 World Cup. The information about the parade was given by BCCI itself. This parade will take place at Marine Drive in Mumbai at 5 pm. According to media reports, after this there will be a presentation ceremony at Wankhede Stadium, where Indian captain Rohit Sharma will give the trophy to BCCI Secretary Jai Shah. The trophy will remain in the head quarter of BCCI for the next two years. It is noteworthy that Team India was stuck in Barbados. The final of the tournament between India and South Africa was played on Saturday, June 29 at the Kensington Oval, Barbados. After this, a cyclone hit Barbados, due to which Team India got stuck there and remained stuck there for about three days. The storm's intensity in Barbados was so severe that the airport was closed and curfew-like conditions gradually developed. Then gradually the situation became normal and then BCCI arranged for a special flight to bring Team India home. Apart from Team India, Indian media personnel stranded there were also brought by this special flight.
