T20 WC 2024: Team India Qualifies For T20 WC Semi Finals By Defeating Australia In Super-8

Kuldeep Yadav Match Winner IND vs AUS: Team India defeated Australia in the 51st match of T20 World Cup 2024 and made it to the semi-finals. India won by 24 runs. However, this victory was not easy for the Rohit brigade. Batting first in the match, India put 205 runs on the board for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Then, while chasing the target, the Australian team had put 128/2 runs on the board in 13 overs and at one time it seemed that Australia would easily win the match. But then Kuldeep Yadav entered and on the next ball he changed the game. Indian captain Rohit Sharma gave the 14th over of the innings to Kuldeep Yadav and he sent Glenn Maxwell, who was playing a good innings, to the pavilion on the very first ball. Maxwell scored 20 runs in 12 balls with the help of 2 fours and 1 six. Before this wicket, Glenn Maxwell and Travis Head had made a partnership of 41 (25 balls) for the third wicket. This partnership was gradually flourishing and the competition was moving away from India.
