Swati Maliwal Case: Delhi Police Might Make Another Visit To CM Kejriwal's Residence For Investigation
In the latest updates pertaining to Aam Aadmi MP Swati Maliwal assault case, a team of the Delhi Police on Friday arrived at the residence of Bibhav Kumar, an aide of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Kumar is an accused in the case involving former DCW chief Maliwal. The cops returned from Kumar's residence after they were not allowed to enter the premises. Former DCW chief Maliwal and the Aam Aadmi Party are at loggerheads over the purported video showing the AAP MP at Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Maliwal said the video was shared without context, while the AAP claimed the video showed "Swati Maliwal's truth". The Delhi Police said that a team of the NCW had reached Bibhav Kumar's residence to serve him a notice, and they had sought the help of the police. On Friday, Swati Maliwal went to Tis Hazari court to record her statement before a magistrate about the alleged assault on her by Kejriwal's aide Kumar. An FIR was registered on Thursday in connection with the assault on Maliwal after she filed a complaint with the Police. Bibhav Kumar has been named in the FIR.
