Supreme Court to hear Shaheen Bagh matter on March 23
Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned till March 23 hearing on pleas seeking removal of the crowd protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at Shaheen Bagh area in the national capital. The court held that it will hear the case on Shaheen Bagh once things have settled and there is a favourable environment to hear the pleas related to the sensitive issues arising from anti-CAA protests. Hundreds of people have been on a sit-in demonstration along a stretch in south Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh to protest the contentious CAA for more than two months.
