Students at Jabalpur Engineering College build a go-kart from scratch | ABP News
Students of Jabalpur Engineering College who are part of the Automotive Society have constructed a go-kart from scratch to participate in the upcoming Indian Karting Championship. The team, which has students from four branches of the engineering college, had to source materials from Delhi and Pune and also ensure that they followed the rulebook provided for the competition. A go-kart typically costs between three and four lakh rupees to be made, but these students were able to construct this car for just one and a half lakh rupees. The 150-cc go-kart that has been built is equipped with hydraulic brakes and is currently being tested by the students for the competition scheduled for June.
