'Stampede broke out while coming out of the pandal' Says Sources | ABP News

Sakar Hari Baba's satsang was going on on Tuesday in Phulrai village of Sikandrarau town of Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. After the satsang ended, whenever the crowd started leaving from here, a stampede broke out. So far 116 people have died in the stampede. The number of deaths may increase further because the number of injured is large. On the Hathras incident, CM Yogi Adityanath said, “It is very sad and heartbreaking… The incident is said to have happened at 3-3.30 pm. Devotees had participated in the program through the satsang of Bhole Baba organized by the local organisers. The accident occurred while the devotees were trying to touch Baba after the programme. A team has been formed to investigate. The Chief Secretary and DGP of the state are camping at the incident site. The Prime Minister and the Home Minister have also expressed condolences to the bereaved families. We will get to the bottom of the incident. It's time to heal the wound. The conspirators and those responsible will be given appropriate punishment.
