Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid announces to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha on August 1
Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid), will be celebrated on August 1. The Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Ahmed Bukhari, gave this information on Tuesday. Due to the absence of the moon, the festival of Bakrid will be celebrated on August 1.
Bakrid is also called Eid-ul-Azha. This festival is mainly celebrated as a festival of sacrifice. Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Ahmed Bukhari said that Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on August 1 (Saturday) due to lack of sight of the moon on Tuesday.
