Shaheen Bagh demolition drive: FIR against AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan over hindering government work

The Delhi Police have charged Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan with obstructing the South Delhi Municipal Corporation's demolition drive in the Shaheen Bagh area on Monday. An FIR has been filed against the Okhla MLA and his followers, according to DCP (southeast), Esha Pandey, for 'not permitting' SDMC personnel to carry out the proposed anti-encroachment drive. Previously, the SDMC licencing inspector for the central zone filed a complaint with the Delhi Police stating that Khan and his supporters refused to allow field employees to remove the encroachments.
