Security beefed up in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh-Sarita Vihar area ahead of polls

With just a few days left for the assembly election to commence, security has been beefed up in and around Shaheen Bagh-Sarita Vihar area. There have been several incidences of open firing in New Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh area, where protests have continued against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Keeping the situation in mind, the police have tightened security in and around the sensitive area.
