The Mumbai police have registered the statement of Sameer Wankhede in the caste controversy. ACP rank officer recorded the statement of the Narcotics Control Bureau's Zonal Director. A complaint was filed in the matter with the National Commission of SC. Post this, the Commission asked the police to start a probe in the matter.
