Rs 11,000 crores given to set up shelters for migrants: FM

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was talking about migrants and she revealed, "To reach out to the Urban poor, Government of India has permitted the state governments to utilise State Disaster Response Fund for setting up a shelter for migrants and providing them food and water. Rs 11,000 crores were sent to SDRF, which was sent by centre for the states to help the migrant workers."
