Prime Minister Narendra Modi is embarking on a three-day European tour, starting with a visit to Poland and then proceeding to Ukraine. Prior to his Poland-Ukraine trip, PM Modi emphasized that Poland is a key economic partner for India, and this visit will strengthen ties between the two nations. Addressing the Russia-Ukraine conflict, he expressed hope for a peaceful resolution and a swift return to stability. Modi will begin his visit with a two-day stay in Poland on August 21-22. Subsequently, he will travel by train to Kyiv, Ukraine, due to airspace closures caused by the ongoing conflict, with the return journey expected to take a similar duration. This visit marks the first time an Indian Prime Minister will travel to Ukraine since the establishment of diplomatic relations 30 years ago.
