Rebel Congress MLAs approach Rajasthan HC over Speaker's notice
Prithviraj Meena, MLA supporting Sachin Pilot, has moved to Rajasthan High Court to challenge state Assembly Speaker's disqualification notice to them. The matter is likely to be heard at 3 pm on Thursday. Pilot camps argument is that a whip can be issued only when Assembly is in session and not for a meeting. Senior lawyers Harish Salve & Mukul Rohatgi are likely to represent them. The notice was issued to 19 MLAs including Pilot after they defied the whip to attend the meeting of Congress MLAs.
