Congress leader Rahul Gandhi celebrates his 54th birthday today, June 19, at the Congress headquarters. Rahul Gandhi celebrated his birthday by cutting a cake at the Congress headquarters. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, KC Venugopal, Tarun Gogoi and other party leaders were present on the occasion. A video shared by the Congress shows Rahul cutting the cake while leaders wish him 'Happy Birthday'. He also exchanged bites of cake with Mallikarjun Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra during the celebration. Rahul Gandhi was born on June 19, 1970, in New Delhi. He is the son of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and former Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Rahul has studied both in India and abroad. He is currently a Lok Sabha member from Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh. Previously, he represented Wayanad in Kerala as a Member of Parliament.
