Punjab: Farmers jam highway over protest against farm laws

Farmers have been agitating for 41 days in Punjab. The Rail Stop movement will continue till November 6. The Farmers in Amritsar and Chandigarh are protesting against the farm laws.

The National Highway has been jammed by the farmers to stage protest against the laws. Several opposition parties, including the Congress, allege that the recently introduced agricultural laws by the Center are against the interests of farmers and are in the interest of corporate houses.
